Gayle has over 25 years’ experience in management and senior management positions across the public and third sectors. She describes herself as a generalist and her experience spans through social care, education, mental health, disability, family support and community development.
She was an internal coach for many years whilst working as a senior manager with the Open University in Wales. Since 2019 she has been running her own coaching, training, and consultancy business and works across the UK with local authorities, the education sector, the NHS, and the third sector.
“I love the variety of working with a wide range of clients and organisations. I’m interested in working with clients to explore under the surface, identifying unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviours, unlocking new possibilities, and starting to ‘build the muscle’ that leads to positive and lasting changes.
Coaching is my absolute passion, as well as individual and group coaching, I love running training programmes to support leaders and help to embed positive organisational cultures.”
Gayle lives with her husband in Shropshire. They have grown up children and run a small bed and breakfast business. They keep chickens and often have a trainee Guide Dog living with them too.
“I’ve finally reached the stage in my life where I’m comfortable and confident in my own skin, it hasn’t always been like this and like everything in life, it takes ongoing practice to maintain!”
